Switch Networks, IT & Telecoms Provider assisted The Original Baker in their recent expansion in the market town of Malton.
The large catering firm in Malton recently expanded their food production business and relocated into a larger purpose-built facility requiring new business phone systems to be installed.
The business owner contacted Switch Networks regarding a new telephone line and broadband connection. Having already received a quote from BT they were shocked with the large installation cost and ongoing rental fees they were quoted.
The business also needed wireless internet coverage throughout the factory and network data points for PC’s and desk phones.
They requested a business Telephone system to transfer calls to different departments that were ready for the ISDN switch off. The company also needed ad hoc IT support and regular services including Office 365.
The Challenge/Objectives
Busy food production environment that requires engineers to follow strict hygiene and health & safety protocols.
To make sure all services are operational during working hours throughout the project.
The Solution
A site induction for contractors included internal health & safety and hygiene procedures.
Services installed in temporary office buildings allowed office workers and production managers to operate throughout redevelopment.
Switch Networks have continued to offer the client services such as IT support, additional network infrastructure and expansion of telephone systems.
